EVOLVE Glasgow - Our Speakers

We are delighted to announce that DCD Retrained Dancers, former Scottish Ballet Soloist, Diana Loosmore, and Musical Theatre and Commercial dancer Julius Ebreo, will be speaking at EVOLVE Glasgow on Friday 1st May 2015.

Julius Ebreo trained at Steps Dance School, Philippines, and the University of the Philippines, before moving to Hong Kong to become a member of the opening and original cast of Disney's Lion King. In 2007, Julius came to the UK and has since performed in productions including the National Theatre's Olivier Award nominated production, Here Lies Love, Equus, We Will Rock You and Romeo and Juliet, to name but a few. He also appeared in music videos for Katie Melua, Plan B and Ministry of Sound and The Muppets Most Wanted movie.
DCD supported Julius with a Financial Retraining Grant in 2014 to develop his own dance and entertainment agency, BE Artisan. Now based in Leeds, he is also a dance teacher and choreographer for institutions including the University of Leeds, North Yorkshire Dance, Dance Studio Leeds, Old School Dance Works, Renaissance Arts and Bolton University.
"Having attended EVOLVE London last year, I know first-hand how valuable this workshop is for professional dancers. I really look forward to sharing my career story and hopefully inspiring other dancers in transition."
